FreeUndelete

You accidentally lost a file? Fortunately the program FreeUndelete has a solution. FreeUndelete often can restore lost files.

FreeUndelete 2.0 scans your harddisk for files that can be restored and shows you the results together with the status of the file. You can install filters for making searching for files easier.

An alternative which is also freeware is: Recuva.
